Dr. Alexander Sappok is CEO of RaySecur, Inc., a Boston-based, venture-backed, technology company developing advanced security imaging systems. Previously, Dr. Sappok served as founder and CEO of FST, an MIT spin-out company developing radio frequency-based sensing technologies acquired by CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS) in 2015. He holds over a dozen patents and two R&D100 awards. Dr. Sappok holds a B.S. degree from Kansas State University, and S.M. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, where he also held the Cummins-MIT Fellowship. He is a member of ASIS, SIA, SPIE, SAE, and ASME.
Mr. Cliff Robbins Jr. joined the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network as a senior business advisor in January 2002. He is a management professional and an educator with functional experience in the fields of marketing, sales, strategic planning, and e-commerce. He has worked for the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth as a professional lecturer and industry liaison teaching the principals of marketing, marketing research, sales management, strategic management, entrepreneurship and organizational behavior. He was also a member of the Management Department's advisory board of directors. Cliff has served as managing partner at the Consulting Resource Group, a marketing research and behavior development consulting firm assisting growth-oriented businesses with their strategic business planning and organizational issues. He was executive vice president of The Foxon Company and president/CEO of City Hall Electrical Distributors where under his leadership annual sales increased from less than $1 million to over $20 million annually; and the company grew to be the 120th largest distributor in the USA. He also founded ToTel Systems, a telecommunications company to serve the small business community in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Cliff studied electrical engineering at MIT and Northeastern University. He also earned a BSBA at Eastern Nazarene College. Cliff received an MBA from UMass Dartmouth and a PhD from Suffield University. He has written numerous articles on strategy and organizational issues for professional and academic journals. Cliff is a member of the National Marketing Association and the Executive Circle.
